StarliteBio (starlitebio.com) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This DMCA Policy explains how copyright owners can notify us of allegedly infringing material and how affected parties can respond, in line with the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Our Commitment
We do not knowingly publish material that infringes the copyright of others. Our articles are original summaries written by our team; where we reference official notifications or third-party material, we do so for informational purposes. If you believe that content on our Website infringes your copyright, please notify us and we will act promptly.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on our Website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to contact@starlitebio.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL(s) where it appears on our Website.
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
3. Our Response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material expeditiously — typically within a few business days. We may also notify the party who posted the material.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to contact@starlitebio.com containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
5. Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to remove content and, where applicable, restrict access for parties who repeatedly infringe the copyright of others.
6. Contact
All copyright notices should be sent to contact@starlitebio.com.
